Girls | Father Son Holy Ghost Digipack | CD

Girls were an American band whose recordings connected melodic guitar pop with a wide range of older popular music influences. Christopher Owens' songwriting and voice give the music its emotional centre, while the arrangements move between intimate restraint and fuller, more dramatic ensemble passages.

Father, Son, Holy Ghost places Girls' melodic writing within a broad set of musical influences. Christopher Owens' voice connects intimate songs with more expansive arrangements, allowing flashes of bright pop to coexist with darker emotional material. The album develops its character through those changes of scale and mood.
