Gloria Nuti | Ricca DI Spirito | CD

Gloria Nuti is an Italian singer and songwriter whose recordings place an individual vocal character within Italian popular song. The relationship between lyrics, melody and arrangement gives each performance its shape, allowing personal expression to remain central to the album programme.

Ricca Di Spirito presents Gloria Nuti’s songwriting and voice through a programme that includes Sono Anemica, Vero Amore and Il Mare Calmo Della Sera. Her own rock interpretation of the latter revisits a song she co-wrote and that became closely associated with Andrea Bocelli, connecting this album with an important part of her writing career.
