Goats | Various Artists | Blu-ray

Goats is a coming of age comedy drama whose story places family relationships and unconventional adult influences around a young man's changing life. Its character based humour develops through contrasting expectations, with private experience and the move towards greater independence providing the central tension.

Goats follows Ellis as he prepares to leave his unconventional home for an East Coast school. His mother and the figure known as Goat Man represent different influences on his life, giving the film's comedy and drama a focus on family expectations, separation and the move towards independence.
