Goldfrapp | Head First | CD

Goldfrapp are the British duo of Alison Goldfrapp and Will Gregory. Their recordings move between atmospheric electronic music and more direct pop structures, using distinctive vocals, synthesizer textures and carefully shaped arrangements to create a recognisable musical world across contrasting styles.

Head First is Goldfrapp's fifth studio album, including Rocket and Alive. Bright synthesizer arrangements and direct melodic writing give the programme an energetic electronic pop character, while Alison Goldfrapp's distinctive voice connects the songs' different rhythmic settings and carefully shaped production textures.
