Gustavo Dudamel is a Venezuelan conductor known for his work with leading orchestras, while the Vienna Philharmonic has a long association with Viennese concert traditions. Their performances bring orchestral colour and rhythmic precision to music from that repertoire.
The 2017 New Year’s Concert presents Gustavo Dudamel and the Vienna Philharmonic in a filmed programme associated with the orchestra’s annual Viennese concert tradition.
