Haken | Fauna | CD

Haken are an English progressive band whose music combines intricate instrumental playing with melodic vocals and changing rhythmic structures. Their arrangements move between heavy guitar passages, keyboard textures and quieter sections, drawing on both progressive rock and metal.

Released in 2023, Fauna uses animal imagery as a starting point for songs that also reflect human experiences. The album pairs that concept with varied musical settings, bringing together layered vocals, complex rhythms and contrasting instrumental textures across its programme.
