Ildjarn | Landscapes (Re-Issue) | 2CD

Ildjarn is the solo project of Vidar Våer, former bassist of a death metal band that later turned into Emperor. Between 1992 and 1996 Ildjarn recorded demos, EPs and albums of raw black metal interspersed with minimalist ambient soundscapes. Shortly after the double album 41418, which contains only droning ambient pieces, Ildjarn disappeared from public view, returning in 2002 with two ambient releases recorded in collaboration with Nidhogg.

Landscapes is a 2 CD album by Ildjarn on The Devil's Elixirs, issued in Ukraine as a limited edition of 999 hand-numbered copies. The music is credited to Ildjarn, and the release is classed as electronic with an ambient style.
