Jamelody | Be Prepared | CD

Jamelody is a Trinidadian reggae singer whose vocal approach also draws on soul and gospel. His recordings use clear melodic phrasing and layered accompaniment to connect roots-reggae rhythms with personal, romantic and spiritually informed songwriting.

Released in 2008 through VP Records, Be Prepared is Jamelody's debut album. The programme brings his voice into a reggae setting shaped by both roots traditions and contemporary production, presenting songs that move between relationship themes and more reflective material.
