Jean-Michel Jarre is a French composer of electronic music, born on 24 August 1948 in Lyon, France. He is the son of Maurice Jarre, a composer of film music, and is known for staging large outdoor concerts with laser displays and fireworks, three of which appeared in the Guinness Book of Records for their large audiences. He is also a UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador.

Oxymore is a two-disc vinyl LP album released on 21 October 2022 by Columbia and issued worldwide. It is Jarre's 22nd studio album and includes a download link to a binaural headphone version in WAV format. Hervé Déjardin and Jarre are credited with the binaural and multichannel mix, and Joachim Garraud with additional production and keyboards.
