£9.00
John Williams is an American film composer, conductor and pianist, born on 8 February 1932 in Floral Park, Long Island, New York, USA. He has composed some of the most recognisable film scores in the history of motion pictures over a career spanning six decades. His most typical style may be considered neo-romanticism, with leitmotifs and orchestral grandeur, most iconically in the Star Wars saga.
The Star Wars Trilogy is a single CD album of selections from the scores for Star Wars, The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi. John Williams composed and conducted the music, which is performed by The Skywalker Symphony Orchestra. Thomas Z. Shepard is credited as producer and executive producer.
