Didonato, Joyce | Heggie Great Scott | DVD

Joyce DiDonato is an American mezzo-soprano whose work spans opera, concert repertoire and projects that cross musical boundaries. Her expressive singing and attention to text connect classical technique with a strong sense of communication and drama.

Great Scott follows an opera star returning home to help the company that began her career. The rediscovery of a forgotten opera and a competing championship game create the dramatic setting for Jake Heggie's work, presented here as a filmed performance with Joyce DiDonato.
