Kamelot | The Awakening | CD

Kamelot are an American metal band whose music combines melodic power metal with orchestral and progressive elements. Their arrangements use keyboards, heavy guitars and expressive lead vocals to create dramatic settings, often incorporating contrasting guest voices and recurring narrative themes.

The Awakening, released in 2023, continues Kamelot's combination of symphonic textures and melodic metal songwriting. The album places Tommy Karevik's vocals within layered instrumental arrangements, with songs that alternate more forceful passages and quieter, reflective sections.
