Kenny G | Innocence | CD

Kenny G is an American saxophonist whose recordings connect instrumental pop with contemporary jazz. His work is associated particularly with soprano saxophone, sustained melodic lines and polished accompaniment, placing the instrument's voice at the centre of accessible song arrangements.

Released in 2023, Innocence is a collection of lullabies with orchestral accompaniment. It brings together new compositions and familiar melodies, using restrained arrangements and the saxophone's sustained phrasing to create a quieter setting than his more rhythmically driven recordings.
