Kenny Rogers was an American country singer, bassist, producer and actor, born on 21 August 1938 in Houston, Texas. He died on 20 March 2020 in Sandy Springs, Georgia. His last marriage was to Wanda Miller.
Life Is Like A Song is a 1 CD album of unreleased songs from Kenny Rogers' archives, released by UMe in 2024. The album tells the story of the love, life, loss and faith between Kenny, his wife Wanda and their two children. It features Lionel Richie's song 'Goodbye', Kenny Rogers' versions of Eric Clapton's 'Wonderful Tonight' and The Temptations' 'I Wish It Would Rain', and 'Tell Me That You Love Me', a lost duet with Dolly Parton. Executive producers were Jason Henke, Ken Levitan and Wanda Rogers.
