King Diamond | The Eye (Re-Issue) | CD

King Diamond is a band formed in 1985 by Danish vocalist King Diamond following the break-up of Mercyful Fate. Its lyrics moved away from the occult and blasphemous themes of Mercyful Fate in favour of a gothic horror approach, with most albums built around a specific story. Hungarian vocalist Livia Zita joined in 2003 to provide female vocals, the first time King Diamond had worked with another vocalist on any of his projects apart from guest appearances.

The Eye is an album by King Diamond, issued on CD by Metal Blade Records in 2020 and released on 15 May 2020. It is a one-disc release associated with the USA and Europe. The release is filed under rock and heavy metal.
