KORN | Essential Korn | 2CD

Korn is a nu-metal band from Bakersfield, California, formed in 1993, which mixes elements of heavy metal and hip-hop. The band formed after the group L.A.P.D. disbanded, and it found singer Jonathan Davis in 1993 after seeing him perform with the band Sex Art. Brian Welch left Korn in 2005 and rejoined in May 2013.

The Essential Korn is a 2 CD compilation released on Epic in Europe on 1 June 2011. Its tracks are by the original line-up and are taken from the first six albums, with four non-album tracks. Producers credited include Brendan O'Brien, Ross Robinson, Steve Thompson and Toby Wright, and the compilation was produced by Darren Salmieri and Peter Katsis.
