La Coka Nostra | A Brand You Can Trust (2lp Translucent Purple ) | 2LP

La Coka Nostra is an American hip-hop supergroup whose origins date to 2004, when Danny Boy O'Connor, who was mentoring the young artists Slaine and Big Left, brought them together with DJ Lethal, his former House of Pain DJ. The group went on to add Ill Bill, and by 2008 it consisted of O'Connor, Slaine, DJ Lethal, Ill Bill and Everlast, who left after the first album. Their debut album, A Brand You Can Trust, was first released in 2009 and was appreciated by many for its raw sound. Their second album, Masters of the Dark Arts, followed in 2012 and a third, To Thine Own Self Be True, in 2016.

This two-LP stereo reissue of A Brand You Can Trust was released on 5 January 2024 by Suburban Noize Records, with the year given as 2023. The genres are hip hop and rap, with hardcore hip hop as a style. Brad Xavier, Danny Boy O'Connor and Kevin Zinger are credited as executive producers.
