Styx | Pieces Of Eight | CD

Styx are an American rock band whose melodic hard rock, vocal harmonies and conceptual ambition made them a defining arena act. Their recordings balance progressive structures with concise, highly memorable choruses.

Pieces Of Eight joins Styx’s progressive-rock arrangements to strong, accessible choruses. Blue Collar Man, Renegade and the title track give the album its balance of hard-rock momentum, keyboard detail and theatrical songwriting.
