Mazzy Star | So Tonight That I Might See | VINYL

Mazzy Star were an American group whose slow, atmospheric songs combined Hope Sandoval’s hushed voice with David Roback’s blues-rooted guitar. Their recordings create a distinctive meeting of dream pop and psychedelia.

So Tonight That I Might See develops Mazzy Star’s dreamlike sound through slow rhythms and spacious guitar arrangements. Fade Into You provides an immediate melodic centre, while the wider album explores darker and more expansive shades of the same atmosphere.

Edition: 1LP. Label: Capitol.
