Sylvian & Fripp | The First Day | CD

David Sylvian and Robert Fripp are English musicians whose collaboration brings together atmospheric songwriting, ambient texture and exploratory guitar. Their recordings balance disciplined improvisation with a refined sense of space.

The First Day brings David Sylvian’s expressive voice and Robert Fripp’s guitar into a demanding mix of art rock, funk-inflected rhythm and atmospheric sound. Darshan, Jean The Birdman and the closing Bringing Down The Light define its seven-track programme.

Edition: CD. Label: Panegyric.
