Massive Attack v Mad Professor | No Protection | CD

Massive Attack and dub producer Mad Professor connect trip-hop with reggae’s studio experimentation. Their collaboration reshapes familiar material through echo, space, bass and rhythmic deconstruction.

No Protection reconstructs the material of Protection through Mad Professor’s dub treatment. Echo, bass and stripped-back rhythmic passages transform the songs into a separate studio work, revealing new space and detail within Massive Attack’s arrangements.

Edition: CD. Label: Virgin.
