Massive Attack | Mezzanine | CD

Massive Attack are a British group whose music combines hip-hop rhythms, electronic production and soul influences. Their recordings helped define trip-hop through spacious arrangements and a distinctive, often unsettling atmosphere.

Mezzanine darkens Massive Attack’s trip-hop sound with heavy bass, guitar textures and tightly controlled electronic arrangements. Guest voices and spacious production create an unsettling album whose slower grooves retain a strong physical presence.

Edition: CD. Label: Virgin.
