The Streets | A Grand Don't Come For Free | VINYL

The Streets are the project of English musician Mike Skinner, whose conversational delivery and detailed observations created a distinctly British form of electronic rap. His recordings turn nightlife, friendship and everyday failure into vivid narrative albums.

A Grand Don’t Come For Free follows a connected narrative through lost money, friendship, romance and misunderstanding. Blinded By The Lights, Fit But You Know It and Dry Your Eyes are woven into an eleven-track story whose final Empty Cans provides its resolution.

Edition: 2LP. Label: 679 Recordings.
