Steely Dan | The Royal Scam | CD

Steely Dan were an American group led by Donald Fagen and Walter Becker, renowned for sophisticated harmony, sardonic lyrics and exceptional studio musicianship. Their recordings combine jazz, rock and soul with meticulous production.

The Royal Scam brings a darker lyrical tone and a strong guitar presence to Steely Dan’s meticulously arranged music. Kid Charlemagne, Haitian Divorce and The Caves Of Altamira combine vivid narratives with funk-inflected rhythms and complex harmony.

Edition: CD. Label: MCA.
