Suede | Suede | VINYL

Suede are an English band whose dramatic songs, vivid urban writing and distinctive guitar work helped initiate Britpop. Brett Anderson’s expressive voice gives their recordings a blend of glamour, melancholy and romantic intensity.

Suede’s debut brings Brett Anderson’s dramatic singing into close dialogue with Bernard Butler’s guitar writing. The Drowners, Animal Nitrate and So Young give the eleven-track album its combination of glam-rock colour, urban detail and emotional urgency.

Edition: 1LP. Label: Demon Records.
