The Stranglers | La Folie (NAD24) | VINYL

The Stranglers are an English band whose muscular bass, keyboards and dark humour gave early punk an unusually sophisticated edge. Their recordings developed through post-punk, art rock and melodic pop without losing their distinctive character.

La Folie balances the Stranglers’ abrasive musical personality with increasingly refined songwriting. Golden Brown’s unusual keyboard pulse and waltz-like movement sits alongside The Man They Love To Hate and the title track; this National Album Day edition is on pink vinyl.

Edition: 1LP Coloured Vinyl Pink. Label: Parlophone.
