Madness | Hit Parade Volume 1 1979–1986 | VINYL

Madness are an English band whose lively ska rhythms, distinctive arrangements and sharply observed songs made them central to British pop. Their music combines humour with stories of everyday life.

Hit Parade Volume 1 traces Madness’s early years from 1979 to 1986. Its twenty-three tracks follow the band’s development from brisk ska-pop to increasingly sophisticated singles, retaining the humour and melodic immediacy that made them familiar voices in British music.

Edition: 2LP Gatefold Sleeve Coloured Vinyl Red. Label: West Village Music Management.
