Basso Valdambrini & Dino Piana | Basso Valdambrini Quintet Plus Dino Piana | VINYL

Gianni Basso and Oscar Valdambrini were leading figures in post-war Italian jazz, while trombonist Dino Piana added another richly expressive voice. Together they created elegant, rhythmically assured modern jazz.

This quintet-plus-trombone programme adds Dino Piana’s warm brass voice to the Basso–Valdambrini partnership, expanding the ensemble’s melodic dialogue and tonal range.

Edition: 1LP. Label: Jolly Records.
