Curtis Mayfield | Curtis Live! (Expanded Edition) | VINYL

Curtis Mayfield was an American singer, songwriter and guitarist whose falsetto, inventive rhythms and socially conscious lyrics transformed soul. His recordings connect intimate expression with a broader political vision.

Curtis Live! captures Mayfield’s songs in an intimate concert setting, where a small ensemble brings out their rhythmic and emotional detail. Spoken passages and responsive playing connect the performances, with this expanded edition retaining additional live material.

Edition: 2LP expanded live programme. Label: Music On Vinyl.
