Eddie Marshall | Dance Of The Sun | CD

Eddie Marshall was an American jazz drummer whose subtle rhythmic control and responsive playing supported a wide range of ensembles. His recordings as a leader showcase both his compositional voice and collaborative musicianship.

Dance Of The Sun places Eddie Marshall’s drumming within an exploratory jazz ensemble. The programme gives melodic ideas and collective improvisation equal space, allowing the rhythmic interaction between the players to shape the performances.
