Stratovarius | Fright Night | CD

Stratovarius are a Finnish metal band whose catalogue combines rapid guitar playing, prominent keyboards and melodic songwriting. Their development helped shape the sound of European power metal.

Fright Night captures Stratovarius at an early stage, before the more symphonic approach of their later work. Fast guitar passages, strong melodies and progressive touches run through a nine-track debut that includes Future Shock and the title song.
