Sam Cooke & Soul Stirrers | Just Another Day: 20 Gospel Greats | VINYL

Sam Cooke and the Soul Stirrers occupy a central place in gospel and soul history. Cooke’s graceful lead voice and the group’s responsive harmonies helped shape the emotional language he later brought into popular music.

Early gospel performances capture Sam Cooke’s expressive lead vocals with the Soul Stirrers, before the secular recordings that made him a pop and soul star.

Edition: 1LP. Label: Vinyl Passion.
