Nina Simone | At Newport / Forbidden Fruit | VINYL

Nina Simone was an American singer, pianist and activist whose commanding interpretations crossed jazz, blues, classical music, folk and soul. Her recordings unite extraordinary musicianship with emotional truth and an uncompromising social conscience.

At Newport and Forbidden Fruit appear together in a two-album programme, pairing festival performances with studio recordings from Simone’s early catalogue.

Edition: 2LP. Label: Vinyl Passion.
