Sugar Minott | Bitter Sweet | VINYL

Sugar Minott was a Jamaican singer, songwriter and producer whose warm voice and prolific work linked roots reggae with dancehall. His recordings combine social awareness, romantic material and a deep understanding of sound-system culture.

Bitter Sweet presents Sugar Minott’s warm vocal style across an eight-song reggae programme. Its relaxed grooves and clear melodies allow the singer’s roots and lovers-rock sensibilities to remain at the centre.

Edition: 1LP Coloured Vinyl. Label: Music On Vinyl.
