Staple Singers | Let’s Do It Again | VINYL

The Staple Singers were an American family group whose gospel harmonies, socially conscious songs and deep rhythmic feel became central to 1970s soul. Mavis Staples’ commanding voice gives their recordings enduring moral and musical authority.

Let’s Do It Again is the Staple Singers’ soundtrack collaboration with Curtis Mayfield for the 1975 film starring Sidney Poitier and Bill Cosby. The title song’s gentle groove sits alongside warm vocal performances and Mayfield’s fluid soul arrangements.
