LANU | Double Sunrise | CD

Lanu is the name used by Lance Ferguson, a New Zealand-born producer, guitarist and DJ who lives in Melbourne. He moved to Melbourne in the early 1990s and became involved as a guitarist in the city's jazz, soul and funk scene.

The Double Sunrise is a single CD album by Lanu, released in 2016 by Pacific Theatre in Australia. It draws on the romanticism and mythology of the South Pacific region and the Exotica genre, and Lance Ferguson returns to the Lanu name for the first time since the 2011 album Her 12 Faces. Megan Washington provides vocals and co-writes half the album, Mélanie Pain contributes two tracks, and The Melbourne Samoan Choir appears on one track. The album was produced by John Castle and Lance Ferguson.
