Pluhar, Christina | Orfeo Chaman | 2DVD

L'Arpeggiata is a French ensemble founded in 2000 and directed by Christina Pluhar. Its work focuses on French, Italian and Neapolitan music from the beginning of the 17th century, and it is built on instrumental improvisation and a vocal approach influenced by traditional music. The ensemble works with singers from the Baroque and traditional music worlds.

Orfeo Chamán is a 2-disc release from Erato in 2016, with one CD album and one DVD. The DVD contains the complete performance of the opera, filmed live at the Teatro Mayor Julio Mario Santo Domingo in Bogotá, Colombia, in November 2014. Christina Pluhar composed and arranged the opera, with Nahuel Pennisi in the title role of Orfeo and Luciana Mancini as Euridice.
