Little Walter | JUKE | CD
£9.00
Little Walter was a blues harmonica player and composer, born and raised in Louisiana, whose innovations on the harmonica had an impact on later generations. He arrived in Chicago in 1945, where he occasionally found work as a guitarist but gained more attention for his harmonica playing. His instrumental Juke spent eight weeks at number one on the Billboard R&B chart in 1952, and he went on to score fourteen top-ten hits on that chart between 1952 and 1958.
Juke is a one-disc compilation released on March 26, 2007 by Complete Blues, compiled by Russell Beecher. It is classed under the Chicago blues and harmonica blues styles.
