Lynyrd, Skynyrd | Nuthin Fancy | CD

Lynyrd Skynyrd is an American rock band best known for popularising the Southern hard rock genre during the 1970s. Formed in 1964 as the Noble Five in Jacksonville, Florida, the band became known worldwide for its live performances and the songs Sweet Home Alabama and Free Bird. Three members died in an airplane crash in 1977, and the band re-formed in 1987 for a reunion tour with Johnny Van Zant as frontman. Gary Rossington was the only original member remaining until his death on 5 March 2023, and the band was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame on 13 March 2006.
