Manfred Mann's Earth Band | Masque | LP

Manfred Mann's Earth Band is a rock band formed in 1971 by the keyboardist Manfred Mann, who was born in South Africa and had earlier been in the 1960s pop group that bore his name. Mann's use of the Moog synthesizer was key to the band's sound. The band had a successful period in the mid 1970s and early 1980s, was disbanded by Mann in 1987, and was reformed by him in 1991, after which it became a regular live band with extensive tours mostly in Europe.

Masque (Songs And Planets) is a one disc vinyl LP reissue released in October 2020 by Creature Music in Europe. Credits include Manfred Mann on keyboards, Mick Rogers on guitar and vocals, John Lingwood on drums, Frank Mead on saxophone and Maggie Ryder on vocals. The release is in the psychedelic rock and prog rock styles.
