Manfred Mann's Earth Band | Messin' | LP

Manfred Mann's Earth Band is a rock band formed in 1971 by the keyboardist Manfred Mann, who was born in South Africa and had earlier been in the 1960s pop group that bore his name. Mann's use of the Moog synthesizer was key to the band's sound. The band had a successful period in the mid 1970s and early 1980s, was disbanded by Mann in 1987, and was reformed by him in 1991, after which it became a regular live band with extensive tours mostly in Europe.

This is a vinyl LP album reissue of a prog rock record by Manfred Mann's Earth Band, released in 2016 by Creature Music. Manfred Mann produced it and plays synthesizer and organ, with Mick Rogers on guitar and vocals and Chris Slade on drums. Colin Pattenden plays bass, and Judith Powell, Liza Strike, Ruby James and Vicki Brown provide backing vocals.
