Manfred Mann's Earth Band | Radio Days Vol. 4 - Live At The Bbc 70-73 | 3LP
Manfred Mann's Earth Band is a rock band formed in 1971 by the keyboardist Manfred Mann, who was born in South Africa and had earlier been in the 1960s pop group that bore his name. Mann's use of the Moog synthesizer was key to the band's sound. The band had a successful period in the mid 1970s and early 1980s, was disbanded by Mann in 1987, and was reformed by him in 1991, after which it became a regular live band with extensive tours mostly in Europe.
Radio Days Vol 4 (Live At The BBC 70-73) is a live recording by Manfred Mann's Earth Band, issued as a three-LP vinyl box set on East Central One and released on 10 May 2019. Greg Russo compiled the set and wrote liner notes, Manfred Mann also wrote liner notes, and Steve Fernie was executive producer. The credited musicians are Mick Rogers on guitar and lead vocals, Chris Slade on drums, Colin Pattenden on bass and Manfred Mann on keyboards and synthesizer.
