Mannheim Steamroller | LIVE | CD

Mannheim Steamroller is a New Age band co-founded by Chip Davis and Jackson Berkey. The band takes its name from an eighteenth century musical technique, now known as crescendo. Chip Davis composes, arranges and plays drums with the band, and the group has frequently collaborated with The London Symphony Orchestra and The Cambridge Singers.

Live is a single disc CD of live recordings, released by American Gramaphone Records on 16 October 2015. It contains 18 songs and nearly 70 minutes of music, recorded over two evenings in December 2014 at the Orpheum Theater in Omaha, Nebraska. Chip Davis is credited as creator and producer, with vocals by Elyse Davis and the University of Michigan Men's Glee Club. The recordings feature performances from the DVD and Blu-ray versions of Mannheim Steamroller Live, and it is the band's first live release in 18 years.
