Marillion | Brave | 5LP

Marillion formed in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, England in 1979 and has been recording consistently since 1982. Their output is generally regarded as falling into two distinct eras, one with original vocalist Fish and one with his replacement, Steve Hogarth, who joined after Fish's departure in 1989. The band's differing styles between the two vocalists have often been known to divide fans.

This is a five-disc vinyl set of Marillion's Brave, released by Parlophone in 2018 for the UK and Europe. Discs one and two contain the 2018 Steven Wilson remix of the original 1994 album, and discs three, four and five contain a live recording from La Cigale in Paris on 29 April 1994, remixed in 2018 by Michael Hunter. The live set includes a performance of Brave in its entirety, which first appeared on the double live album Made Again in 1996, and the credits include the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra on cello and flute.
