Matmos | Rose Has Teeth I | CD
£10.00
Matmos is an American experimental electronic duo of Martin Schmidt and Drew Daniel, active since the mid-1990s and based in Baltimore, Maryland. The duo gained prominence for a postmodernist approach, making music from unusual sources such as amplified crayfish nerve tissue, snails and inflatable blankets, and on most releases they list every sample. Daniel and Schmidt create concept albums, taking turns to decide the topic of the next record.
The Rose Has Teeth In The Mouth Of A Beast is a single CD album released on 4 May 2006 by Matador in the UK. Drew Daniel and Martin Schmidt are credited as writers. The album is in the electronic genre, with leftfield, experimental, abstract and downtempo styles.
