Richter, Max | Sleep (Complete) | 9CD

Max Richter is a German-born British composer, born on 22 March 1966 in Hameln, Germany. He co-founded the contemporary classical ensemble Piano Circus, with which he stayed for ten years. He has worked with Roni Size and Future Sound of London, among others.

Sleep is a 9 disc box set by Max Richter on Deutsche Grammophon, released on 11 December 2015. It comprises eight CDs and one Blu-ray audio album containing the full eight-hour version of the work, scored for piano, strings, electronics and vocals with no words. Credits include Acme String Quartet, Grace Davidson on soprano vocals, and Richter as producer.
