Meters | Cabbage Alley | 1LP

The Meters are a New Orleans funk group whose clipped guitar, elastic bass and deeply syncopated rhythms created one of the genre’s foundational sounds. Their economical grooves have influenced generations of funk, soul and hip-hop artists.

This vinyl edition presents Cabbage Alley. Originally released in 1972, the album captures a distinct chapter of the artist’s catalogue in the sequence prepared for this physical edition.
