Michael Jackson | Greatest Hits: HIStory Volume I | CD

Michael Jackson was an American singer, songwriter and performer whose solo work connected soul, pop, rock and dance music. His recordings used layered vocals and detailed rhythmic production, developing from his early Motown career into a broad solo catalogue.

Released separately in 2001, Greatest Hits: HIStory, Volume I presents the retrospective programme originally included in the 1995 HIStory set. This CD gathers established solo recordings from different periods of Jackson's career rather than the new-material half of that earlier release.
