Joni Mitchell | Clouds | 1LP

Joni Mitchell is a Canadian singer-songwriter whose work combines detailed observation with distinctive guitar and piano writing. Her early recordings draw on folk traditions, while her phrasing and changing musical structures helped establish the personal, flexible approach that runs through her wider catalogue.

Originally released in 1969, Clouds is Mitchell's second album. Its largely acoustic setting places her voice and guitar at the centre of songs including Both Sides, Now, exploring relationships, uncertainty and changing perspectives through restrained arrangements.
