Montoya, Coco | Ya Think ID Know Better | CD

Coco Montoya is an American blues guitarist and singer whose career includes work with Albert Collins and John Mayall. His playing combines expressive lead guitar with rhythm-driven blues arrangements, while his vocals connect the instrumental performances with direct, song-focused interpretations.

Released in 1996, Ya Think I'd Know Better follows Montoya's debut with another collection of electric blues. The album develops his solo identity through contrasting songs and arrangements, giving both his vocal delivery and sustained guitar phrasing room within the ensemble performances.
